Lamont Cannon

Senior Outreach Coordinator

Lamont Cannon is the Senior Outreach Coordinator for Duke University’s research networking system, Scholars@Duke (scholars.duke.edu). He leads all outreach and advocacy efforts for Scholars@Duke on campus and works closely with faculty and support staff to provide enablement and elicit feedback for more effective system improvements. Prior to joining Duke University in 2013, Lamont was a technical sales specialist for IBM’s Rational Software Division providing technical support, product proof-of-concepts, and customer enablement for software sales engagements. Lamont has a B.S. in Computer Science from N.C. A&T State University and a M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
