Key Role of the Review Committee

The role of the review committee is to evaluate whether a candidate meets the standards set for tenure and/or appointment to full. By evaluating the candidate's dossier materials, along with the assessments of arm's-length evaluators, the review committee will deliberate on the candidate's strengths and weaknesses and prepare a report from which eligible voting faculty may review prior to voting.

The chair of the review committee is nominated by the department chair and approved by the dean.
